2021 Texas A&M Formula Team
Texas A&M SAE’s 2021 Formula SAE team attended the Formula SAE Nevada competition at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Nevada. The team once again stood out in this exhilarating international race and won the championship title another year for Overall, Endurance, Autocross, and Skid Pad events. Additionally, the team broke the national record for most points scored by an internal combustion car during an FSAE competition. Texas A&M Formula SAE aims to stand at the forefront of internal combustion vehicle race technology. The members on the team are on a fast track to becoming the next generation’s world class engineers. This is Texas A&M’s 8th win in the Formula IC category.
The 2021 team was dedicated to building a winning car. To ensure success, the team has strictly defined their design philosophy, as we believe the key to a winning car is designing and building it with one common goal in mind. To do this, we have nailed down the following team need statement:
"Design for reliability, simplicity, and testing"
