Texas A&M Society of Automotive Engineers

Texas A&M's Society of Automotive Engineers Chapter ( TAMU SAE), is a non-profit educational and scientific organization dedicated to advancing mobility technology to better serve humanity. The goal of our organization is to provide students with exposure and hands on experience that they will be able to apply in all aspects of their life. 

Brief Description of Projects:

Formula Internal Combustion - Formula IC is a mechanical engineering capstone with the goal to develop a race-ready vehicle from core engineering fundamentals. Each vehicle is the culmination of ~20 engineers and their work to develop a competitive vehicle.

Baja SAE - Baja is a mechanical design team with a goal of creating a durable off road vehicle.

Formula Electric - Formula Electric is an engineering design team with the goal of designing and racing a electric powered formula one style vehicle.
