Texas A&M's 2009 Grassroots Challenge Team placed 5th and won the Editor's Choice award against 58 competitors at this year's Grassroots Challenge. The team was lead by Sam Craven, and included Jake Sieverling (crew chief), Lalo Ibarra (crew chief), Kyle Coles (driver), Chang Liu, Paul St. Martin, Chris Willy, Luis Savcic, and Michael Finkelshteyn. |

A&M Engineering Students Get Ready For Fast, Green Competition |

It sounds like, looks like, and drives like a formula racing car. And, in a sense, that's exactly what it is. However, this race car is different. It's been built entirely by Texas A&M Engineering students and it's a hybrid.
